Senior Accounting Manager

The Sr. Accounting Manager will be responsible for leadership in accounting practices and financial reporting for the Burger business unit. You'll support the business unit's leadership by providing valuable analysis and reliable data. You will assist with various jurisdictional reporting requirements and filings. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that will play a vital role in the company's growth strategy.

Tasks:

Perform day‐to‐day accounting functions, including routinely recording transactions and analyzing accounts.
Preparation of Financial Statements and Analysis
Works with Department Managers to Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
Manage Capital Expenditures and Budget to Actual Variance Analysis
Manage Asset Registers
Evaluate Accounting and Internal Control Systems
Manage Various Regulatory Reporting and Jurisdictional Filings
Assist Accounting Department with Projects and Strategy Initiatives

Skills/Experience:

Bookkeeping‐ Building/Booking Journal Entries (understanding of debits/credits)
Understanding of Financials Statements
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Understanding of Book/Tax Depreciation/Asset Lives
Knowledge of Payroll and Sale Tax Compliance
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite and related Software
Excellent Organization Skills and attention to detail
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
Experience with or able to learn quickly accounting software and/or HRIS Software
Time Management Skills
Supervisor/Leadership Skills

Preferred:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or 4+ Years of Previous Accounting/Business‐related Experience

Physical Setting/Normal Schedule: Office‐California, MO (Monday‐Friday)
